Training Session 2/21/13.

Training Session 2/21/13 :

Warm-up
Row 500 meters
Foam Roll
Mobility Work

Gymnastics Skill

15 minutes of Double Under Practice
High of 21 reps
Goal next training session is 30 reps.

Olympic

Snatch for 20 mins = 185# need to focus on pulling through the movement .

Clean and Jerk for 20 Mins= 255# (must avoid the pendulum swing at the clean...)

5x2 Snatch Balance (Heavy but food form)
135, 135, 165, 165, 165 -- should work these a bit more in my programming.

Behind the back Push Jerk ( Heavy but god form)

165, 185,185 , 185

Conditioning

Row 4-6X 500 (hard)

I managed two before blowing up. I need to work on my conditioning.

Notes:

This session was way too long, must focus on the rest intervals and stick to them. I don't have too much time to waste .

Snatch
I have tendency to jump forward to catch the snatch which caused me to fail on the lift. The Problem is I do not do a complete pull on the second and I need to focus on my heels.


Clean and Jerk

I have a bit of a pendulum swing on my cleans, once again I need to stay on my heels. I also need to focus on my upper body strength. I have to add some additional conditioning work. I have significant mobility and movement issues...
